You got lost in the woods.  You managed to find a remote cabin, isolated in the middle of the dense forest, but something is wrong...  You can't quite put your finger on it, but something seems to be missing.

The cabin at the center of the forest seems ordinary upon first glance, but as you look closer you notice it seems to only have 3 sides!  In fact the entire space around the cabin seems smaller than it should be.  The cabin has a front side, a left side, and a right side, you can count them all.  But somehow, you can never manage to get behind the cabin...

Behind The Cabin is an experimental proof of concept in creating a non-euclidean space in an outdoor setting.  This was my first experiment learning Unreal Engine 5, and I was inspired to experiment with non-euclidean geometry without using the traditional 'portal' methods that work well when your game takes place indoors, where portals can be easier to place.  Furthermore, the portal method can wind up being somewhat restrictive when it comes to supporting the full range of graphical effects, and so this is a proof of concept of an outdoor non-euclidean environment that can take full advantage of all of UE5s rendering capabilities.

So nothing happens right? :) I mean nice experiment and all, but just to be sure, nothing happens? Been walking around the cabin a lot.

Yeah that is correct, it was just for experimenting with the effect and not with any gameplay at this point

Impressive anyway :) You got some skills, hope you will use them for a horror game at some point.

Thanks for the kind words!  And yeah definitely the plan, just need to find the right direction to take this kind of prototype :)
